Today David will be speaking with two very special women who are fighting the battle for Israel on Social Media and on the ground in Israel, in the United Nations and in other places.

Virag Gulyas is a Hungarian woman living in New York, she is not Jewish, but has discovered a love for the Jewish people and the State of Israel. She is a professional Brand Digger, Social Media strategist and PR expert. She recently came under personal attack of the worst kind by anonymous hackers who stole her photos from Facebook and uploaded them to a porn site with vulgar references. But, Virag did not let them intimidate her, she stood up and fought back.

Talyor Amrani is an amazing young woman who left the comforts of the Valley in Los Angeles and came to Israel to serve in the IDF and to live the Israeli experience. Talyor who is now studying in University in Israel has recently begun posting video posts to Social Media sharing her take on Israel’s current events and interviewing interesting people who she feels should be seen and heard. Check out her Facebook page and youtube channel, and don’t miss her interview on a Hebrew in the Heartland.

On Sunday the people of Israel celebrated Jerusalem Day commemorating 51 years to the liberation and unification of the holy city and capital of Israel Jerusalem. Marches, dancing and special prayers of thanks and appreciation to HaShem for these miracles were held throughout the land.

On Monday the entire world took note of U.S. President Trump’s heroic move of the American Embassy to Israel’s capital Jerusalem.

David will be speaking with two very special guests today. Ruth Lieberman is a Political Strategist who connects like minded American officials with Israel and Israeli leaders and helps them focus their strengths to supporting Israel where it is needed the most.

Israel vs BDS PR who is doing it better and what can we do to improve? On today’s show David will take a look at new list of pros on cons published by “Almost Jewish” Brand Digger and Public Relations expert Virag Gulays. She compare effective measures used by anti Israel propagandists vs weaker and limited means used by the pro Israel camp. Is Hasbara mostly Jews speaking to Jews? What about the much larger audience, the non Jews, are we ignoring them? How can we be more effective for Israel? Israel support from Germany. David will be speaking with Anna König, a young women from Germany who not too long ago was on the other side of the fence and has turned into a big supporter for the Jewish State and the nation of Israel. She recently visited Israel for the first time and spent a day in Shomron.

Today I will be speaking with two very special friends of Israel from Africa.

Njeri is from Kenya, she spent last year volunteering in Jerusalem and learning Hebrew. Although I missed her on my recent short visit to Nairobi for Israel Independence Day. We will hear from her about the special love for Israel that exists in Africa and especially in Kenya.

My secound guest today will be Bishop Scott Mwanza from Zamabia. Who was recently on tour in Shomron and spoke at the Shomron Regional Council. On today's show we will hear part of the speach that he gave to the council members and his remarks after visiting factories in the Barkan Industrial Park.

A funny thing happened to me last week on my way back from Africa. I got stuck in Ethiopia and was force to spend an unexpected Shabbat the capital Addis Ababa. This mishap became an amazing opertunity to meet and bond with the remaining Jewish community there who are waiting for OK to come to Israel and reunite with their families and the Jewish people.

On today's show I will be speaking with a young member of this community. Abera Endeshaw is a student of software engineering, he speaks fluent Hebrew and English and represents the younger generation in the African Union's International Affairs.

With the rise of right wing political parties in various European and other countries, the Jewish community in Israel is challenged with debate on their past and current positions regarding strong support for Israel on one hand and in some cases a shady antisemitic past.

On today’s show David will be speaking about these issues and more with Jenny Aharon, political adviser at European Parliament. She is a director at Golden Gate public affairs & consultancy, has published several opinion articles in European media, Times of Israel and Jpost and is a diplomat at World Jewish Congress.

David Ha’ivri taking part in a panel discussion on current events on i24News hosted by Ami Kaufman together with former Canadian Ambassador to Israel Vivian Bercovici and former Israeli Ambassador to France Danny Shek.

A committee in Israel’s Ministry of Diaspora Affairs has presented a plan to reach out to foreign communities who have an affinity to the Jewish people or traditions that associate their heritage to the tribes of Israel. Some members of this panel suggest that Minster Naphtali Bennet wishes to convert 60 million Christians to Judaism and bring them to Israel as a means of confronting the demographic threat.

In this segment the panel will address the new reports that US president Donald Trump will not be coming to  Israel for 70 Independence celebrations and will not personally take part in the opening on the American embassy in Israel’s capital Jerusalem.

In David’s opinion this is not a major let down. The move of the embassy itself and the recognition of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel is a big thing in itself and doesn’t require the physical presence on the POTUS to make this more significant.

Next guest will be Band Digger and Almost Jewish Zionist, Virag Gulyas an Hungarian woman who is based in New York City from where she actively shakes up the pro Israel scene. After recently attending the AIPAC summit for the first time she published a detailed blog on Isreallycool.com

Not wanting to be offensive, but, also wanting the Zionist movement to be effective Virag offers very valuable constructive criticism. She asks why the Hasbara message is totally aimed at one very small segment of society, namely American Jews? There are many other audiences who need to be addressed and spoken with. She herself has been spending a lot of time at UN headquarters in NYC and engaging with women from Muslim countries who have never heard directly from a pro Israel speaker. See her latest blog post https://www.israellycool.com/2018/03/19/israels-pr-sucks/

I met Ben last week while a hosted a tour in the Barkan Industrial Park for participants of a York Entrepreneurship Development Institute (YEDI) program in Israel. Ben will share with us why he developed this new platform and how it works. I think that its an amazing idea and I have already signed up and launched a poll. She also deals with women’s health issues that are not getting enough attention because of common overzealousness in the boundaries of modesty. Don’t talk don’t tell type of attitude that leads to dangerous neglect and avoiding medical exams that could be saving lives.

Another strange new coming phenomenon that has been taking ground in some growing circles is the invisible women, some publications and magazine editors will no longer allow display of pictures of women even in most modest dress. According to Keats-Jaskoll these new regulations can have a damaging effect on education of both girls, who may become convinced that something is wrong with them and also on boys who’s image of women and their place in family and society is distorted.

The White House denies that such talks have ever took place. If Netanyahu is telling the truth the act itself is opposite of sovereignty. So very problematic.

Q&A with David: Why is Israel Expected to Give Over Land

Question: Hi David (just FYI, my name is ****), I feel like a class A moron, but would really appreciate (when you have time, it doesnt have to be now, whenever is fine) if you could explain (in basic terms, o r if as I suspect, it’s just the same double standard always applied to us)…we WON the 6-Day war (I was 7, I saw it on TV, kita bet ivrit was good enough for me to understand “Har HaBiet b’yadeinu.” I KNOW we won E. J’lem, the Golan, Yehudah v’Shomrom, Gaza, the Sinai Peninsula (was that it in 6 days?) How are WE the ONLY ONES forced to give back land captured in a defensive war…bc now it seems we “occupy” it. No one speaks of us winning that war & I don’t understand. I KNOW how other countries ‘play’ war. Why is it different for us? Or is it, as I suspect rhetorical? Or are we the consummate friar? Thanks! @Blondini on Twitter
