ARE US GUARANTEES WORTH THE PAPER THEY ARE WRITTEN ON?

Excerpt from Wikipedia: When the Soviet Union collapsed in 1991, the newly independent Ukraine had on its territory what was the third largest strategic nuclear weapons arsenal in the world. It was larger than those of Britain, France, and China combined. On June 1, 1996 Ukraine became a non-nuclear nation when it sent the last of its 1,900 strategic nuclear warheads to Russia for dismantling.[1] The first shipment of nuclear weapons from Ukraine to Russia (by train) was in March 1994.[2] In return for giving up its nuclear weapons, Ukraine, the United States of America, Russia, and the United Kingdom signed the 1994 Budapest Memorandum on Security Assurances, pledging to respect Ukraine territorial integrity, a pledge that was arguably broken by Russia’s 2014 invasion of Crimea.[3]

This is the information that is readily available on internet.

At this time I do not want to discuss who is right and who is wrong in Ukraine, even though I completely support “Maydan” and no there is not antisemitism there and yes Putin’s Russia is a bloody KGB led tyranny that constantly arms and supports all enemies of Israel. All instances of antisemitism portrayed by Russian media are propaganda, created by the same people in KGB who came up with a mythical falestinians and trained PLO.

What I would like to talk about and bring to everyone’s attention is the fact that Ukraine was provided with “unprecedented security” guaranties, it was guaranteed territorial integrity when it gave up its superior military and huge nuclear arsenal.

This is a huge learning opportunity, HaShem, in my humble opinion, is warning us once again, we cannot trust any “unprecedented security guaranties” by anyone, USA included. Israel can only count on Israel and maybe diaspora to a lesser degree. Our borders have to be defensible, our security considerations have to take priority. Only superior strong military and defensible territory can provide us with any security.

Ask yourselves, if the world leaders are not willing to defend Ukraine ( a Christian nation) after such strong agreement, will they really lift a finger for us? Time after time we are shown – International agreements mean nothing, but our land, every sentiment of it is worse everything!

Bibi, I pray to HaShem you stay strong and smart and say no to Obama.
